Graduation Requirements

A minimum of 24 Carnegie Units is required for graduation from St. Vincent’s Academy, with every student taking a minimum of six credits during a school year. The requirements for graduation are as follows:

• English 4 units
• Mathematics 4 units
• Science 4 units
• Social Studies 4 units
• Foreign Language 2 units
• Religion 2 units
• Physical Education .5 unit
• Health .5 unit
• Computer .5 unit
• Fine Arts .5 unit
• Electives 2 units

All colleges in the Georgia University System require the following credits for admission:

• English 4 units
• Algebra 2 units
• Geometry 1 unit
• 4th Year Math 1 unit
• Foreign Language 2 units
• Physical Science or Physics 1 unit
• Biology 1 unit
• Chemistry 1 unit
• Fourth Year Science 1 unit
• World History 1 unit
• U.S. History 1 unit
• Economics .5 unit
• American Government .5 unit
